How I Spend My Ac Earnings
As a college student paying for my own tuition and books I have found it hard to catch extra income to afford all my expenses. I stumbled upon Associated Content from a blog post in mid March and was hesitant to write for money, because I am an economics/management double major, not an English major. I took the chance and published my first article on the GM and Chrysler government bailout. I started to design some serious spending money writing about topics that actually interested me; it was a good feeling making money off my acquire interests. I quickly got addicted into freelance writing and used AC as a stepping stone, making a generous amount of spending money in the process. Sources are paid upfront as well as by page views; this article will take a look at what I made in July and how I spent it on everyday expenses. Keep in mind while reading this article that I am now a professional freelance writer and have not had to work a frail job since I started.
July 2009
July 2009 was by far the best month I had on AC since I was finally getting the hang of writing and attracting page views. I was paid in upfront payments as well as $61.60 for page views.
Purchases: the following purchases are what I was able to purchase with money solely generated with AC
BlackBerry Curve 8900 Smartphone $150 with $87/month plan
3 Trips to Boston including, food, Amtrak train ride, and entertainment at $100/trip
Textbooks -$50
Back to college savings $300
New Clothing-$100
Movies/out to eat -$40
As a college student Associated Notify has given me the extra income that I would not have had otherwise; the best part is the page view income. I don’t advertise page views except for on my Facebook page, the views are entirely internet search engine based (basically free extra money). The other monetary relieve with using AC as a student is that other online publishing companies have seen my work and offered me jobs based on my writing. I now work for multiple websites, as well as AC and have a mammoth portfolio of published writings and a large resume for my age.
